OSH- The Gathering Place is a student organization that provides students with opportunities to develop a sense of spiritual identity as a part of being human. As students are learning how to make choices and decisions as adults and take ownership of their lives, they are encouraged to develop their whole identities including their priorities and beliefs. -To provide opportunities for interfaith dialogue
-increase cooperation between individuals with different perspectives and life experiences
-show that interfaith service can benefit individuals, groups, and communities

Peer Support Specialist program
Peer Support
Peer support specialists can help you with:
-Academic concerns
-Feelings of depression and anxiety, loneliness, and confusion
-If you are feeling bullied or left out
-Feeling misunderstood
-Family or relationship conflicts
-Faith or spiritual struggles

Peer Support Training
The Gathering Place offers training for Interfaith and Social Justice Peer Support Specialists Trainees who develop and implement Interfaith and Social Justice events. Scope of training, objectives:
-trainees learn to be models of civility and cooperation to combat hatred and violence in society
-trainees are exposed to interfaith service opportunities
-trainees are provided opportunities to explore and express spirituality as part of their overall wellness
-trainees will gain confidence about being social justice advocates and/ or activists
-trainees will gain confidence when engaging with others who have varying perspectives and beliefs
